The Ape Of Nature

New multi channel video installation from Peggy Ahwesh. “The Ape of Nature”  is loosely based on Werner Herzog’s Heart of Glass.  Drawing from Herzog’s unique methods, actors in The Ape of Nature were hypnotized before each scene was shot. I make an appearance in the film as a vagabond musician. There is also some of my music in the score. This installation and film will debut at The James Gallery (CUNY Graduate Center) at 365 Fifth Avenue in NYC. It will also be screened in 2010 New York film Festival at Lincoln Center.
